About Gentile
Pastificio Gentile, established in 1876, is an historic artisan pasta manufacturer located in Gragnano, Italy, a town renowned for its pasta production since the 16th century. The Zampino family continues traditional craftsmanship by using high-quality Italian semolina, including the Senatore Capelli wheat variety, known for its aromatic and flavourful profile. Their pasta is bronze-cut, creating a rough texture that allows sauces to adhere better, and is slow-dried using the "Cirillo" method to preserve aroma and texture. Gentile offers various pasta shapes, such as SpaghettOne, Fusillo, and Napoletani, each reflecting the company's dedication to quality and tradition.
