About Rustic Bakery
Rustic Bakery began in 2005 when founders Carol LeValley and Josh Harris sought the perfect sourdough flatbread cracker to pair with cheese. Their journey started with a chance conversation at Cowgirl Creamery, where their crackers impressed owners Sue Conley and Peggy Smith, leading to an order of 50 cases. From a small commercial bakery space behind a wine bar, they quickly expanded, turning the space into a café serving coffee, baked goods, and salads alongside their signature crackers. Today, Rustic Bakery operates four cafés in Marin County and a larger bakery in Sonoma County. Committed to quality, Rustic Bakery continues to craft innovative items with organic, local ingredients, maintaining their dedication to handmade excellence.
