The Kolsvart Dream began a decade ago with a vision to create the best café in Malmö, Sweden. While guests adored the coffee, the dream soon turned into a financial struggle, leading into the metaphorical darkness—fittingly, "kolsvart" translates to "pitch black" in Swedish. Yet, from this challenging period emerged a new aspiration: Kolsvart, the confectionery company. Initially focused on traditional Swedish licorice, it quickly expanded offerings, driven by a passion for pure and natural flavours while striving for the perfect balance between taste, purity, and texture, continually surprising customers with innovative flavors and experiences. Through experimentation and collaboration with artists and creatives who share our curiosity, they ensure there’s always something new to discover at Kolsvart.
