Yugeta Shoyu, established in 1923 in Tawame, Saitama Prefecture, is a family-run producer now led by fourth-generation Mr. Yohichi Yugeta, dedicated to traditional soy sauce brewing using Japan-grown wheat and soybeans. Their smoked soy sauce, infused with Sakura (Cherry Blossom) wood, delivers an intense smoky flavour designed to complement foods like vegetables, meats, seafood, fruits, and cheeses, making it an ideal choice for adding a distinctive smoky touch to dishes.
