About Deer Creek Cheese
Founded in 2006, Deer Creek Cheese began by showcasing aged Wisconsin Cheddars, including their award-winning Vat 17 World Cheddar. They partnered with Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker Kerry Henning to create their first animal series cheese, The Fawn, with whimsical labels designed by their daughter Sophie. The series grew with unique cheeses like The Blue Jay, a buttery blue created with Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese. Using nutrient-rich milk from local family farms, Deer Creek cheeses are crafted with simple, high-quality ingredients and creative additions like vanilla bean and black truffles, all made with love and passion.
