About McClure's Pickles
In 2006, Bob and Joe started McClure's using their great-grandmother Lala's pickle recipe, which they had made every summer in Michigan. Bob, an actor in New York, and Joe, a classical guitarist and PhD candidate in Detroit, decided to turn the family recipe into a business. They initially produced pickles in both Brooklyn and Detroit, then moved all manufacturing to Michigan in 2009, partnering with a New York warehouse. The company focuses on using local, in-season produce and building direct relationships with growers. McClure's products are all-natural, gluten-free, and kosher certified, and the brothers love connecting with customers worldwide who share their family stories.
